The all-electric Audi A9 e-tron is said to be the next legitimate Tesla Model S Rival

With Tesla Motors’ unexpected success in the automotive world, other luxury high-end car makers are starting follow suit and take electric cars more seriously.

While still yet to be officially announced, the Tesla model rival will incorporate the same drive train as the Audi Q6 e-tron. Using a total of THREE electric motors, the total brake horsepower generated would be 429bhp.

We will always love Tesla and its roots but new electric car technology is always welcomed to encourage a more sustainable future. In any case, the A9’s design is simply stunning:
